Most projects fail not because the idea is poor but because it moves forward without being tested at the right moments. PDC uses six decision gates so that every project is challenged before more time and money are committed.
Gates 0 to 2 We first ask whether an opportunity deserves investigation, then whether it is credible, then whether it is technically, commercially and legally viable.
Gates 3 to 5 Only viable projects are structured and financed. Before execution begins we confirm that implementation conditions are met, and before handover we confirm the asset can operate sustainably.
